Once again, we have to apologize for not keeping up with Asher's blog in a timely fashion. Things have been so busy that we forget to make the monthly updates. Asher has had quite a productive month. He is really becoming a little person with his own personality. He continues to be a very happy baby with the occasional fussy moment.
Perhaps the biggest thing for Asher this month was learning how to eat. He started with cereal. For a while, he was eating the cereal at school, but not at home. Come to find out, the cereal at school was flavored with fruit and made with water. Once we tried that at home, he ate the whole thing. We also added certain vegetables and fruits to his diet, though we found out that he was allergic to peas when his face broke out in a rash.
In the development department, Asher is slowly putting on weight once we added real food to his diet. He is still long and skinny, but you can tell he has some meat on him. He started turning over by himself this month from his back to his stomach. This happened mostly at night and on several occasions, he woke up crying because he didn't know how to flip back over. He also found and mastered the exersaucer. He can stay in there for almost an hour.
Asher had a lot of fun this month too. He celebrated Passover, participated in a 5k run, went to Disney World a couple times, went to Sea World, went to a splash park, and spent a couple days away from us while we took Logan on a Disney Cruise. Make sure to check back with the blog in a couple weeks to see Asher turn 6 months old.
